What Took Place and Why It Matters
On October 7–8, 2025, clinicians convened in Odesa for the scientific-practical conference “Педіатрія від А до Я. Рецидивуючі інфекції дихальних шляхів” (“Pediatrics From A to Z. Recurrent Respiratory Infections”). Day one ran onsite at Gagarinn Hotel, Arkadiia Plateau, 5-B, with an HD stream; day two was fully online.
The event was CPD-accredited and listed in Ukraine’s eCPD catalog for 2025. Target attendees were physicians across pediatrics, allergy, immunology, ENT, infectious diseases, pulmonology, and family medicine.

Clinical and scientific program
The program addressed practical algorithms for children with recurrent respiratory infections, vaccination strategy, fever counseling, asthma in preschoolers, otitis prevention, pediatric constipation, and rinosinusitis care.
Sessions included: meningococcal vaccination; acute otitis media prevention; the mucosal target in acute rinosinusitis; “fever in children: communicating with parents”; the role of microbiota “from mouth to gut”; and nutrition profiles in frequently ill children, with structured Q&A and case discussions.
Faculty and topics spanned two days with onsite and streamed formats, awarding 10.5 CPD credits for in-person and 7 for online participants under MOH Order No. 650 (April 16, 2025).

Delta Medical at the conference
Delta Medical’s Medical Affairs and Pediatrics Portfolio teams engaged physicians across pediatrics, allergy, immunology, ENT, infectious diseases, and family medicine throughout both days. The team held on-site discussions at Gagarinn Hotel and parallel virtual touchpoints to review clinical cases and recent trial summaries.
Clinicians explored Akimba (olopatadine) for allergic conjunctivitis, with interest in differential use versus other antihistamine eye drops in pediatric allergy clinics. Staff also fielded questions on BioGaia (Lactobacillus reuteri) probiotic applications in recurrent infections and GI support, Smart Omega (omega-3 fatty acids, EPA/DHA) for nutrition optimization, and Humer (sea-water nasal solutions, Urgo Healthcare) for rhinitis and rinosinusitis hygiene.
Educational materials and dosing guides were distributed; follow-up meetings were scheduled with Odesa and Kyiv-based clinics and with the Odesa municipal pediatric diagnostic center for protocol integration and stock planning.
Market and industry insights
The meeting reinforced two themes relevant to Ukraine, CIS, and EAEU markets: first, preventive pediatrics and vaccination regain priority as schools and clinics manage seasonal surges; second, multidisciplinary care pathways for frequently ill children require unified ENT-pediatrics-allergy algorithms, supported by simple, reimbursable options for nasal hygiene and allergy symptom control.
