Delta Medical Uzbekistan participated in the XI International Gastroforum “Autumn School of Gastroenterology,” engaging with gastroenterologists and primary care physicians to support high-quality scientific exchange.

At the plenary session, Professor Feruza Khamrabayeva, MD, DSc (Center for the Development of Professional Qualifications of Medical Workers, Tashkent) delivered “Anemia in Gastroenterology: Key Questions in Therapy,” reviewing current evidence and practical pathways for patients with malabsorption syndromes, celiac disease, atrophic gastritis, H. pylori infection, Crohn’s disease, and gastrointestinal bleeding.

The scientific agenda addressed anemia management in GI practice, including the role of intravenous iron where clinically appropriate. Ferric carboxymaltose (Ferinject®, CSL Vifor) was discussed within approved indications and local clinical guidance.
The forum also included participation by Natalia Mitish, Head of Medical Affairs, Russia & CIS, CSL Vifor, underscoring the event’s collaborative, education-focused character.
