Delta Medical placed second among all pharmaceutical marketing organizations in Ukraine for total promotional activity in the first quarter of 2026, and first in the medical representative visit channel. The ranking was published by Apteka.ua on 8 May 2026, based on PromoTest data from Proxima Research’s PharmXplorer system, which covers 18 medical specialties (nephrology newly added in 2026), pharmacists, and procurement experts across 31 Ukrainian cities.

Seven of the top ten organizations in Q1 2026 are Ukrainian marketing companies, which says something about the operational responsiveness of locally based teams during the wartime period. The Ukrainian pharmaceutical market generated approximately 2.0 million mentions of pharmaceutical promotion across all channels in Q1 2026, on par with Q1 2025.
Behind the ranking
The result in the medical representative visit channel reflects how our salesforce structure in Ukraine is operating: PharmActive and Gloria Pharm covering the pharmacy audience; and our Women’s Health (WHC), Joint and Pain (JHC), Primary Care and Pediatrics (PHC), Neuroscience (CNS), and Specialty teams covering medical specialists across five geographic blocks, with Regional Managers based in Kyiv, Lviv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, and Odesa.
Holding the #1 position in this channel ahead of considerably larger international and Ukrainian competitors is a measure of field force productivity in Ukraine.
Thanks to the trade and medical representatives, regional managers, and fieldforce managers across Delta Medical Ukraine; to the marketing team under Gulya Pogotova; and to the cross-functional support that keeps the field force operating every day.
What the Q1 data shows about the Ukrainian pharmaceutical market
The PromoTest data also points to several broader trends in the Ukrainian pharmaceutical market:
- Total promotional activity is stable at around 2.0 million healthcare professional mentions per quarter
- Conferences and seminars grew 11.4% year on year
- Remote communication and electronic mailings continue to expand (up 2.4% and 9.7% respectively)
- Trade marketing activity declined 25.4% year on year, partly tied to the regulatory restriction on marketing contracts between manufacturers and pharmacy chains
- Dietary supplements now account for 16.5% of the promotional mix, up from 12.7% in Q1 2023
Our planning for the rest of 2026 follows these directions: expanded medical conference programming, additional remote communication tools, and continued development of our innovative portfolios, with several new products from multinational partners planned for launch.
